If you only put 5 players on the bench, the engine output goes nuts.

No, what happens is - the viewer lists one guy 7 times on the bench and no commentary or scores because of an ill formatted output (/common/reportmatch.asp?matchID=522388)

And the boxscore (522388) shows that only 4 of 6 actually played.
