Something I’d like to see implemented by next season if possible…

What with all the griping about having road games for the Cup Tournaments, wouldn’t it make sense to make games in neutral arenas and remove the home-court advantage?

Maybe the early round games can be home games, especially since the larger leagues seem to have so many, say, DI teams vs. DV teams, and so many of those DIV and DV teams are just bots, anyway, so it doesn’t really matter playing on the road since an upset is unlikely anyway. And maybe the location of the home is based on who has the biggest arena (or maybe not)? But once it’s down to the last, say, 64 teams, how about borrowing random arenas from around the tournament country to host it? Or maybe just locate the games in major cities of the respective countries, but they’d be made-up arenas?

Since Cup prizes are now fixed, the arena is less important now, anyway. So I think the tournaments should be more about the best team, and not have the home-court advantage factored into tournaments with such random scheduling.

Don't ask what sort of Chunks they are, you probably don't want to know. Blowing Chunks since Season 4!

In the USA I'd suggest Russell Gardens.

Great news!

Do you have any info concerning the size of the potential arenas? I imagine they should be over a certain number of seats to be eligible no?

I really don't.

If I had to guess, we're probably looking at the biggest arenas.

I believe one of the economic changes relates to Cup income, right?
