I’d like to strongly suggest finding a way to make sure that new teams aren’t created in place of playoff-bound inactive teams right before or during the playoffs. I’m playing a team was able to coast in the second round against a team that won the first round, then got a new owner and new team. This means that I’m facing a team that could easily go into Playoff Normal and still coast to a win. In the meantime, my first round game was against a team that beat me last time I played them, so I didn’t want to chance going with Playoff Normal. (I beat that team, and then that same team got a new owner a couple days later, of all the timing!). I think even an active team that was good enough to make the playoff is much better than a brand new team with a new roster, so I’d like to see a way to make sure that playoff team doesn’t change ownership during the playoffs (or even as soon as that team makes the playoffs). Then that team becomes a bot so it doesn’t get promoted (and summarily pounded in a higher league with an inexpierenced roster the next season).

Don't ask what sort of Chunks they are, you probably don't want to know. Blowing Chunks since Season 4!

Well, do you really think that it would have been tougher for your opponent if he had played against a bot rather that a new comer ? In both cases, I think he would have easily won in normal.

The bot would have continued to play with its existing roster. It won with that roster in the 1st round of the playoffs - the replacement happened between the 1st and 2nd rounds. It had also won 6 of its last 8 league games with no owner involvement.

That's for that response. I should have mentioned that in my original post.
