I don't get one thing in this game engine. I understand that every player tries to score and there many criteria to take a shot etc. but why don't some of them learn inside the game?
Here are a few stats from my last game:
(I know I played outside but there are other players who can shoot from outside or the coach maybe could have substituted him more, I dunno)
SG C. Brás 36 4 - 23 2 - 10 1 - 5 etc.
He has the best JS & JR in my team but he definitely sucks. I don't know what I am doing wrong about it. (In my 1st league game, he was again 4-16.) I don't like him to shoot when he can't score. Is there anything I can do about this or this is gonna happen like forever? My worse JS guys have better FG then him.

(my PG was also 3-16 in the match) Any advice or opinions?

A quick loock at the the match summary shows that his perimiter defense was tremendously better that your outside game. So, that implies he will stifle your outside shooters. Also, he plays a 3-2 defense which is designed to improve his outside defense again, removing your chances for open shots.
