Is there anything that can be done about the players' shot selections?
Tonight in my game I won partly thanks to my Center draining three three-point attempts, but I think the coach would be doing his nut about him even trying them, given his JS and JR ratings.
I partly understand it, because I played R&G and the other team played perimeter defence, thus restricting my SG to few shots. So the other players had to try more outside shots I guess. But several times my big men tried and failed outside shots, and then the guards tried driving lay-ups or inside shots and failed them too - all the while with me shouting at the computer for them to use their brains and play to their stronger abilities.
Is it a function of their low experience that my guys don't seem to be able to fuse my match orders with their actual abilities and put the right players in the right places to take the right shots? How can I get my inside players playing inside and my guards shooting from the outside? Please don't say "Princeton", 'cos when I tried that it was a disaster!
