i have some noob questions:
what kind of strategies do i use against defensive and offensive tactics?
what do i play against opponents who play princeton or going inside?
what can i do against man to man defense

In general, if your opponent is outside oriented, use an outside defense (3-2 or 1-3-1). If they are inside oriented use the 2-3. This is partially depenent on how your player strengths matchup to his. If your inside guys are solid on defense and they are an inside team, use Man to Man to help reduce his outside potential. His inside guys will get their points no matter what, but reducing the efficiency or success of the rest of his team is the key to winning.

what do i play against opponents who play princeton or going inside?


With teams that have a strong inside focus, I would use 2-3. Princeton usually means strong outside shooting focus, so a 1-3-1 will probably have a bit of success.

what can i do against man to man defense


Figure out his defensive weaknesses (scout) and play the game to focus your attention on his weaker aspects. Or rather, if you have confidence in your strengths, just play to those and see how it comes out. Man-to-man has no real modifiers, so it will not skew his defense one way or the other.
