Hi everyboby!
Is possibile to remove garbage time in scrimmages?
Why are scrimmages in this game? Because you can let play your players enough minutes to take the training or to don't rise/decrease their game shape. How can I do this if my center MUST play 48 minutes and I put him like starter, backup and reserve, but at the halftime I am +25 and my playmaker (!!!) plays for last 2 quarters and my center plays only 17 minutes? Ok, probably he went out because he had 4 fouls, but if I want that he play till death, what can I do? Or can the BBs remove garbage time only in scrimmages?
Thank you for answers
Sorry for my english!!! :-)

Agreed. Too randomness in minutes played.

Sorry for writing in English.

if you have a player who MUST play 48 minutes in the scrimmage you're not handling well your minutes

i had this same problem. the quick solution is to entirely remove your players that have already gotten their minutes off your roster. if you look at my last 2 scrimmages you'll notice that i only had 7 active players in the game. i might not win but that is hardly the point when it comes to scrimmages. the game engine will treat every game as though you are playing to win so you're going to have to remove your players entirely out of the equation if you want the backups to get minutes.

when you get a new trainee as a backup but your starter is considerably better then it is very likely that the starter will be in the game for around 40+ minutes. since you want to win league games you'll have to live with it for two games. but in order to make sure the back up gets trained and the starter doesn't take a form hit from overextending himself you just remove the starter from the roster.

I have the same problem, 'cause some players play more minutes than others. maybe for his game shape, skills or because the Coach decided. The only way that I'm using now is only use the player for that position in a match. No matters what happen. The other one in the next match and the third in the Scrimmage.

By example, mi last scrimmage I only put four startup players.... an all of them, played the 48 minutes....

i think a good suggestion is this,

if you have player that has somewhat skills to play at a high level of play but is not better than your starter. a good mix is to this,

try putting let coach decide and let your best player on that position be coming off from the bench and start your subpar guy.

youll see somewhat the coach balancing to let your best guy play also heavy minutes if needed too also it eliminates you to play 48 minutes to those trainees you need.

if you can play in those 2 games that player for about 8 to 12 minutes total, you have better chance of getting 48 minutes after the week.

For me it works perfect....look at my last srimmages...or even cup or BB3 game....PG/SG position...
