All Star Weekend - Benefits?

Hi all,

I know this a pretty dumb question, but what is the point of the All Star Weekend? The players that are selected don't have anything added to there details to say that the are 1 time, 2 time, etc allstar players at DIV # level. Is it just something so that they can do server works? I just dont see the point.

It's just a fun little thing to break up the season a bit.

I dunno about you but i like it and most people seem to like the all star game and the 3 point shootout.

it makes the game more realistic. plus for most users this is the only way their players get legitimate public recognition. the only other way would be to make the national team or the junior national team, both of which are not easy endeavors. though you're right, there should be some sort of note in the player bio's that list the all-star games and number of times they have been league MVP. a team hall of fame wouldn't hurt either with these stats, but now i'm getting dangerously close to being tossed in the suggestions forum.

Yeah.. It's for fun!.. I just hope in the future all-star days more events would be included like rookie game, 2-ball, skills challenge at slam dunk.. that would be awesome :)

Rookie game is a very good idea. You should make a proper thread in the Suggestions forum for it (if there isnt one already).

I dont know how they would actually do the slam dunk comp though.

at least the players selected for the all-star game could improve their experience level, or get their playing time included in the weekly stats... In real life, all-star players have recognition and thus have a better value...

You can't include anything in the weekly stats which you can't influence as the club manager imo, just as NT Games for example.

I would like to know on what grounds is the arena for the all star choosen?Because i really don't understand i guees is random.
