For the "how your team played against your rival," it fails to take into account how you played against your rival in the last game if it happened to be a cup game (and I would imagine a playoff game as well). Not sure if this is a coding issue, but realistically, the fans would be a lot happier beating the rival in a tournament situation (cup or playoff) than in the regular season.
