my best player is out for 2 weeks so i think i should speed the game up now so im goin 2 run and gun on offense and play a full court press on D what do u guys think will happen

im not sayin i want 2 speed the game up cause he out i used run and gun cause my team plays better takin ouside shots and i just want 2 play fast

against a better team i won't play slow offense, because you need to finish strong if you won't get trouble with the clock when you play slow.

but if you play slowly you don't net 5 of 10, you net 3,5 of 10 which makes 21 points against 48 the relativ difference is higher, and thats make the pbobabilit from a bad beat higher.

Don't think so. If you play slower you'll have less runs and so will your oponent, because he's able to make a run every time you end one. Same for you.

More probably, since you're waiting for a better chance to take shot due to lower pace, your overall shoting quality will be increased making, let's say, a 6 of 10 nets.

that don't fit with my experience, with slower pace i got bad shooting percentage because you normally have trouble with the clock.

Else i would play slow pace more often ;)

It is importante to have a high passing skill in your players (not only PG or SG+SF) in order to take maximun adventage. If that's not your case, it will be better for you to not choose a slow pace ;)

high passing and high attack ratings, and iff you have both you aren't an underdog ;) And even with this premises i prefer the faster strategies.
