I wonder - the exact formula of how salaries are calculated is hidden (right?) and attributes are weighted. Would I be wrong if I say that improving stamina and/or free throws wouldn't raise salaries so much as other improved attributes (non-team training simply)?

I mean could it be beneficial to train FTs (or Stamina) at the end of the season to limit the raise of the salaries before new season? I mean better attributes wouldn't help you so much - you basically paying for improvements from last season in the next season. And you will pay for them no matter if you benefit from them 10 weeks or only 1 week. So I would suggest to train specific attributes at specific times of seasons.

In addition in playoffs, relegation and with the new staff system which allegedly raise number of injuries it could be harder to handle the minutes for all needed players the right way. Team training doesn't care how much your player played.

(for me as recent starter without top trainer and limited use for actual improvements until the end of the season there are another reasons; and some of my players really suck at free throws)

Anyone?

but you benefit fro then every week you are playing, and that means nearly every week he is in your rooster.

When they suck it could improve your FT % pretty much, but i don't know when you just start with the game must player are "crappy" and will be changed pretty soon, and probadly one or two ft training won't raise their amrket value much .. Skill training in your Trainees will improve their value more(when you had bought some "good" trainees or have some in your starting rooster).

PS: FT training could be usefull when you just got 2 games oper week, because it is indepenent from the played minutes.

I agree with CrazyEye, but then again, if you make sure to sell or fire the players you won't use (much) and then buy some you plan to keep for a while, it might be interesting to train free trows until you get a decent trainer.

free trows trains rather quick, no matter what the level of your trainer is. If you want to buy, you don't need to look at FT skills, since you will train that anyway. If you are out of the Play-offs, or don't even participate in them, you only have 2 games each week the next couple of weeks, so other training will not be that rewarding, especially when you have a low level trainer.

So I'd say, first arange your team, before next thursday evening.
Then set your training to free trows, and take your time picking out a good trainer without trowing tons of money at him to get him fast.
Once the new season starts you can start looking for your new trainer, because then you will be able to play 3 games again. Once you have your new trainer, focus on other skills. By then your FT will be increased a level or 2, maybe 3 for all your players.

They are not your friends; they dispise you. I am the only one you can count on. Trust me.

I agree, that was my point. It is better to train free throws now, because you obviously have to train free throws sooner or later. It won't raise salaries so much, it is easier to handle, it doesn't rely on trainer. And it keeps you more flexible for the new season when you have 3 new prospects. And then start to train.

Two minor questions:
1) Injures players don't train FTs or do they?
2) I got a team with 1-15 record so I'm heading into relegation now. Is it possible to relegate if all teams in lower division (IV. in Czech Republic in this case) are managed by computer?

I thought it only helps to promote teams with good record instead of keeping a bot team in higher league. I didn't realize it could prevent a realgation. Or is it technically realgation and then promotion in one offseason? Would the team get the promotion bonus then? Pretty please:)

I think you will get half of the promo bonus, which is the usual case with bot cleanup promotions.

Is this true, did you have experienced this yet?
I thought I read somewhere a while ago the promotion bonus only was for the regular promoted teams, and that other teams promoting didn't get any bonus...
