Could anybody tell me if it is possible to change my team name, if so could you please explain.

Yes it is possible to change your team name, but it will cost you 100k. As far as I know you can do this when the new season is generated but before your first match is played.
I hope for myself, that I didn't the time when it'S possible to change the team name :)
