hi,
how is each player's rating for a game determined? is it supposed to be accurate or is it like DMI & fairly meaningless? i read the help section and saw this:

Each player that has played more than five minutes in a given match receives a rating, on a 1-10 scale. This rating is based on a combination of your player's stats and his overall contribution to the team effort.

looking at the boxscore, and in some cases watching the games live, it seems like the ratings are way off...

for example my point guard just got a triple double (14 pts. 12 rebs. & 10 assists) with 0 turnovers, 0 fouls and 4/4 free throws... he got a rating of only 5.0??? seems awfully low. my SG (5 rebs, 8 assists & 17pts) took some terrible shots, missed a key free throw and got a 6.0 rating. hmm...

also i had 2 players play 5 minutes and didn't get a rating, even though in past games with only 5 minutes played they did get one? oh well it's not a huge issue or anything, just curious more than anything.

In the boxscore you can't see the defensive efforts of your players: maybe the opponents PG had 20pts, 22rebs en 15ass, and his SG only had 2 points for 0-7 shooting...

ah, good point. i didn't think of that. was just looking at steals, blocks, rebounds and fouls in terms of defense. it's hard to tell watching the game as well though. also the players on your opponent aren't all equally skilled... some are much easier to defend so hard to compare.
