Stuff like that happens when only one team can promote per season. I agree that a redistribution every once and a while would be nice.

Just curious - how would you go about doing that in a fair manner that creates the balance you are looking for?

As the lesser of those five teams, it isn't frustrating. It makes for some great competition. Strategy factors into each league game, though I screwed up my strategy in the playoffs and exited early.

I would imagine that is very frustrating for teams that are not competitive in the top group of II.3. One of the five will be promoted this week and it will be difficult for the remaining four teams to continue to improve and manage their salary levels without selling off top players.

My prediction is that in two seasons the dominance of II.3 will be a thing of the past. Also three of the five top teams will be in Div I.

I do agree with you that your division is the strongest of the four second level divisions of Canada. Personnally I view it as a good thing. I welcome a solid competition (which is why I'm happy to promote to div I again!).

I understand that it is frustrating that 5 of the 7 top teams (the other two are myself and Jugglers in II.2) in div II are in your league, but at the same time, if I had difficulty with these teams, I would prefer to keep on fighting with these teams and getting some wins against a few lower teams than coasting for a season against incredibly weak teams, promoting to div I where I would get crushed for a full season losing all my fans, not making any game revenue from tickets because no one comes to the games.

Anyways, good luck to you,
Martin

Maybe not. Imagine if my team drops into your division? It will still be 5 teams duking it out. Actually, the only pushover dropping down is Glasgow, as they just turned bot.

Hmm, I thought my team (the Shooters) was the II.1 winners...

You still did not answer my question of how to rebalance?

Glad I was promoted into II.2 then! ;-)
