Is trying to get a player with a high potential a good thing. Becasue my shooting guard has bad potential but he plays better than a player with MVP potential.

So what is better good potential or just looking at the rankings..

They have a higher training cap with higher potential. With regards to performance, potential has no effect.

i have to see about that. i bought 3 crack ass trainees at the beginning off this season and the player that got least ups was my MVP trainee, my superstar and perennial allstar got a lot more pops. lets see on the long term what happens :) but so far it is just a theory isnt it? what I am trying to say is, this system is kind off new and noone really know how much more potential a MPV has over a player with super star potential etc etc

It probably has more to do with your players height then your players potential that you have seen more pops for the players with lower potential...
