Ineligible for play offs of Season 6. Don't worry about that. (Because play off matchups are often decided in only game there have to be some time to scout your opponent and prepare good tactics against him. I.e. it should prevent a team from buying big stars just before the game, that would be unfair. Maybe there is more reasoning).
