What happens to the players of a users team when the user is banned? Does it get taken over by a bot or sent to sale??
What happens to the players on the team??

Depends on how good those players would be. Better hit TL and I bet national team mebers too no matter how good or bad they are (not completely sure about the latter).

NT players always become free agents, and I believe at the moment players with 10k + salary/week also become free agents, but that figure could have been raised.
