I'm still in 2 minds as to whether or not to get one of these guys, but I just wondered if the speciality extended to scrimmages and PL games? As in, if I had an away scrimmage, would I still get the enthusiasm boost?

would it matter? it's not important whether you win or lose in a scrimmage. just the minutes. but yes you get a small boost in scrimmages away.

True, the outcome is irrelevant, but if you stand to possibly blow the opponent out, the NA speciality may well tip the balance too far in your favour and mean the difference between a 32/16 split and a 26/22 split in terms of training minutes. It may not be much but I'd at least like to know.

Wait, so am i reading this right. A PR manager increases your chances of winning by getting more of your fans to a game, even an away game?

According to the rules:
National Appeal: When your team is on the road, your opponents will have a slightly decreased Home-Court Advantage.

So a PR manager with the NA speciality will give your team a better chance of winning than you would have had before. It doesn't necessarily completely swing the advantage your way and I guess the effect is negated by the PR manager with Crowd Involvement.

A PR manager in itself doesn't give you any increased chance of winning, it just brings more people to your home games and gets you more merchandising revenue, etc etc. So the incentive for a better PR manager is the possibility of more money.
