I am looking to upgrade my staff and I'm curious to know if there's been any indication (e.g. by BBs in forum threads) that the initial wage of unsigned staff is an indication of "how good" the staff performs compared to another staff on the same level. My questions is basically:

Does a level 6 trainer with an initial wage of 30000$ pr week perform better than a level 6 trainer with 22000$ in initial wage?

If this is true it would be valuable information when buying staff because a high sub-level staff would be almost as effective as a low sub-level staff on a higher level. Example:

A 30000$ pr week level 6 trainer would be almost as effective as a 32000$ pr week level 7 trainer.

Thus, paying 3 million for a level 7 trainer would be a waste of money when you can get a level 6 trainer (high sub-level) for 1/3 of that price.

Anyway, I'm being hypothetical here. It all depends on the answer to my main question (in italics).
