This is in response to something posted in Minor Suggestions, plus follow-ons.
(3910.30)The suggestion was to permit the manager to designate the position for their players, so that when they sorted the players by position it would easier to set lineups, prepare training, compare skills, etc.
As an alternative, what if the designation was based on where a player actually played? This might be based on the last 10 games, and include some minimum amount of PT, say 48 minutes at one position.
This would also assist the opponent in preparing for a game, and in scouting potential players for the NT. If the position(s) played was added to the box score and stats, this would also help.
