Does anybody want to take a look at my team and see what I should do next? I have over $600,000 saved up, and I'm not really sure what to do. Last season I went undefeated until the finals, and I lost. I promoted due to bot cleanup, and so far this season I have only won 1 game.

I'm training my guards right now, and I have my training set up. My stadium is built up to 6000 seats, I might consider raising seat prices. I have a level 4 doctor, a level 4 trainer, and a lever 1 PR manager. I have a starter and a backup in every one of my positions.

To be honest mate. I've had a look at your arena and you keep selling out (so your not getting as much money as you deserve). You have the money, so insead of raising ticket prices, expand your arena appropraitly. (look at the best teams in your division). That may cost $300,000 + The rest, well increase your scouting to about $20,000/week if you think you'll go down so you can get a really top draft pick.

Also, make sure you have good quality trainees as that's where you'll increase the quality of your team (or the size of your wallet). I got mine (and im a Div II team) for about $200k - $300 k each so you could find one to suit.

So yeah, arena, scouting, and make sure your training's not going to waste. That's what i'd do. But im also one of those guys that trains just for my team and dont sell on the whole (against the advice of most of the top players).

Btw, you really dont need to be wasting money on a lvl 4 doctor at the moment. That's really just a luxury. I'd go lvl4/5 trainer, lvl 3 PR, lvl 1/2 Doctor. Spending less, getting more fans. But that's only worth it if you expand the arena.

Thanks for the advice. It's really useful. I think I'll expand my stadium right away, and then raise my investment cost. I think I'll also buy a really good trainee. Oh and I'll update my coaches.

What skill levels should I be looking at for a good point guard trainee.

Thought I would try and help out.

First off all I had a look at your younger players and I can't find out what you are training. You have several 19 year old players and only 1 18 year old that you are selling. Since you are asking about how to train guards, why are you selling your 18 year old guard?? (I assume you are training guards??). His stats arent that bad, he wont be a Top Player but for the 4th and 3rd league he might be good enough.

I would, If I would be you concentrate on scouting and buying next season some fresh 18 year old guards with decent potential.

I think all guards, need all 6 first skills. Jump Shot,Jump Range,Outside Def.,Handling ,Driving and Passing. When the player is young I would try to raise Outside defense the most and now and than train the other skills. (OD is the slowest to train).

Hope this info helps, I am not saying you have to do this, there are many ways to success, but this is the way I would do it.

I am training my guards, but I'm selling the 18 year old because I have 4 shooting guards and only 1 point guard. The 18 year old has a shooting guard so I wanted to switch him with an 18 year old point guard.

I am concentrating on scouting and buying 18 year old guards. That's at the top of my list. Now I get what your saying. If I'm scouting 18 year olds why would I be selling this guy. I just realized I shouldn't be selling this guy. Too late now.

I see what your saying about all guards need the first six skills, but don't point guards need more passing and handling than shooting guards. I'll train the outside defense first like you suggested, but up to what skill should I train them to.

I think I'll be able to get out of relegating with a little improvement.

Dude, make sure you read the rules thoughally. The position listed is only a prefered postion and it doenst actually effect performace at other positions. My best point guard is a small forward. It's only about stats and the position bit is really just to help new players.
If you just train outside defence and maybe jump shot next, you'll know exaclty what you're doing when it comes time to change. (I am training guards too, JS/OD/PS rotation right now)

I knew about the best position not affecting performance already, but I'm just trying to keep things simplified.
