I somehow messed up my lineup for tonight's game (somehow I managed to set the lineup for Tuesday's game, and was contented with the bright red check mark, and ended up with a default lineup from my cup match a week ago).

So while I was trying to make sense of what happened, I noticed a player marked in red on lineup screens for future games. But he continued to play in the game, and played 20 minutes of the first half. I missed the opening tip of the second half, and by the time I got to my seat, he was on the bench - but I couldn't tell what had happened.

After the game I find he has a 6-week injury and will miss 1/2 the season.

So I went and watched the replay. The player takes a shot and is fouled. He shoots the free throws and then is substituted out. No mention of any viscious foul or being carried off on a stretcher, simply sent to the bench.

So there are two bugs (1) knowing about an injury by looking at the lineups for future games. (2) Not knowing about an injury by watching the game live. If I hadn't looked at the other lineups, I would have simply wondered why my starter who had played 21 of 25 minutes, then sat on the bench for the rest of the game.

didn't he show up in red in the game viewer?

but i agree we have some problems with injury reporting that we are looking into... i'm not current on its status so i can't comment further.

I just checked and he did show up in red in the game viewer.

This was the game (1004704) and the injury happened at 11:08 remaining in the 3Q.

Is it feasible at all to be able to remind the game viewer while the game is being played? In this case, I missed the first couple of minutes after the half, and so couldn't see what had happened. But if I could have fast forwarded to 24 minutes, I could then have seen the log.

the realtime tag still works while the game is in progress.. so yes you can skip backward by adding ?realtime=0 to the url.
