I love this game, but even i thought twice about signing up after I read those quotes the first time i visited! They make almost no sense (in English anyway!), "i really, really play it!", what does that even mean!

They sound like some off the top of the head decision when the site was first launched and in my opinion they send out totally the wrong message. This game is very well crafted and it is played and made by people that love basketball. Off the cuff marketing blurbs that make no sense just don't fit!

Some suggestions -

"Welcome to Buzzerbeater! The browser based game for basketball lovers worldwide!"

"Buy, sell and train players to beat your opponents!"

Etc!

Or how about using real player testimonials?
