Which tactic is best against pressure?
Slow, normal or fast based?

The team who play pressure in defense probably have hight level of stamina. My opinion is: If I play slow tactics I'll reduce the effect of stamina and pressure because the rival player play longer in defence and that take a effect on their stamina. Am I right?

Sorry for my bad english :)

You could argue that a fast paced attack is better because the defence has less time (and therfore chances) to steal the ball from you.

I play fast attack against FCP. (with average HD/PS)

Calum, thanks for fast answer.I just need help. Your opinion is very interesting. If your attitude is in the right I think that I have a relevant player for fast tactic.
Any other opinion?

Oddly, Calum's answer is completely opposite to my experience. To combat FCP or a team with high outside defensive skills, you want to maximize your Offensive flow. Which means better Handling/Passing (esp in PG) and a slower tactic.

you could also argue, that it is easier to get a good shot against an fcp, so you could use a slower tactics that you wait for a better shot with less risk in running out of time.
But it also seems that they are a transistion phase, when the fcp end and the other team switch to a normal defence, because you amde a lot of high percentage shots in the first seconds of an attack(with slow and fast pace offence, but maybe it is better the ball fast), these shoots seems to be mostly in the near of the basket so maybe i would prefer a inside focus.

Also since this season, fast tactics have more rsisky passes, so that they made in average a bit more to.

So you see that i am undecided, how to play against a fcp but maybe you could understand my pro and contra.

Hehe. To be honest. I've only played against FCP about 8 times and i've won them all BUT i expected to win them anyway. I may well have won by more with a slower tactic but i like to minimize time on the ball anyway. My OF is not very good.

One thing is for sure. Go for the PG with the highest passing and handling as that's where you may lose it.

Why not go for Low post attack and see how it goes, that's what i would take out of this discussion. Slightly slower but not too much, and also an inside concentration for a few more 2nd chance points.

not sure really. that's just my experience. i assume because you have more players closer the the oppositions basket.
