One of the less active players in my series seems to train Game Shape. He has 24 players, an d only 10 of them actually play (the same ten). All of his starters are at strong, and all of the guys who dont play are at mediocre and holding. Doesnt seem worth it to me, as I manage minutes properly and all of my guys are either strong or proficient. Plus I get pops that he doesnt.

maybe it's worth it if you do it once right in front of a very important game when your best players need better shape.
For instance if your 2 best are at respectable or lower and you play the cup finals next week...

If all your players are at strong (on average) training game shape won't help a bit. I've even heard from managers that players might even drop in shape from proficient to strong, or from strong to respectable, even with shape training...

Good point. Rare exceptions

I think that someone is wrong . Training shape has some sense when one million is a stake .

I think he just said that:

Good point. Rare exceptions

NO ONE at this table ordered a rum & Coke
Charles: Penn has some good people
A CT? Really?
Any two will do
Any three for me
Any four will score
Any five are live

I think he said 'someone' which can be 'anyone'. And if I remember right, some posts ago 'someone' posted it is a waste of training (without rare exeptions)
So I'm guessing he meant that 'someone'

(yeah I know... I still suck ;รพ )

I think the bottom line is that with the exception of injuries to important players in regards to important matches (your best guys probably have decent GS unless they have been injured) it would probably be difficult to find an experienced manager who uses GS training on a regular basis.

using GS training on a regular basis indeed shows lack of good managership.
However it is posible one has played his starting 5 excessive minutes and are likely to go down. (for instance in a week with 2 important league games + cup semi's).

Then you face the cup finals next week. So it might not be a bad idea to train shape in order to pull them back in line.

So it is not very unlikely to happen to some teams.

Same can happen when the POs are underway. ;)
