So, in the first round of the playoffs, I will be playing (at my arena) a team which just received a new owner about 2 weeks ago. Obviously, his players are pretty weak. He has picked up a SF who has a DMI of about 39000. Other than that, he's only got 2 guys above 20,000. If he gets their game shape up, he might have 2 other guys jump above the 20k threshold. Obviously DMI isn't the end-all-be-all, but it's all the info I have about his players.
Anyways, My SG has a DMI of 70,000+, I have 3 guys at about 40,000, and 7 other guys at 20k+. My enthusiasm going into the first PO game will be about 7 or 8.

My question is whether or not I should play PO normal or PO crunch time against this guy. Clearly, all-else equal, my team would dominate his. His enthusiasm should be 5 going into the game, as he's played nothing but normal attitude. He just lost by 14 to the worst team in the league. My second-round opponent is a very good team (#1 in the conference, best record in the league) that runs a full-court press and R&G, and runs them well.

I'm just really nervous to use a "playoff normal" attitude in my first round game and lose to a clearly inferior team without ever getting my shot at the 2nd round opponent (who I recently knocked off by 25, although our first matchup he won by the same). Also, should I consider trying to limit the minutes of some of my top players going into the 2nd round?

Phew you were right. I won 102-50 playing Normal and limiting my starters' minutes, and he was playing CT.
