Hi,
I want to write a program that can produce team stats. The first part (coding against BBAPI and inserting in DB) is almost done, and while doing a test run, I noticied that BBAPI calls are very slow on www.buzzerbeater.com.
Since the API is meant for one call after another (ie you can't ask for results for a list of matches but have to go through each one by a different call), and since replies from server are so slow, it's very difficult to retrieve season 7 results for my level in my league. And I'm not even speaking about retrieving the whole league.
Is there a specific server that can process requests faster ? Or will there be a new call to fetch a bunch of (gziped one day I hope) results ? Or can I fork a few processes to do multiple parallel requests ?
Thanks.

I've tried www2 domain but it's not much better. Do you known how many parrallel connections are allowed on the server ? I don't want to be too aggressive on it.

I'm not saying it's slower, as it is the first time I use the BBAPI, I'm just saying that for a mass retrieving of info, it's very slow. Hope you don't misunderstand me.

I dont try it actually but I also made some test for get a lot of information in short times - I get more than 1000 teams and there players in a time of less than 3 minutes maybe it was only a minute but really really fast..
so the most important for that is your server and your internet connection, then there should be not a problem.. thats my experience
