Hey,

My PG just fouled out and had 5 fouls before the 5 minute mark in the second quarter. The thing is his fouls were 7 seconds or less after the other team had a defensive rebound. No shots were taken and it didn't say what the other player was doing. It just said foul called on John McClain.

Anybody ever hear of anything like this?

Was he guarding Hans Gruber?

On a serious note, did you set the foul option to Let Them Play?

I know, I think he has the best name in BB history. Check out his quote...

I did, bu...t

a) I thought that was for the end of the game (now I know)

b) Why was he fouling exactly at 6 or 7 seconds after the other team rebounded the ball?

Why not? Handchecking, tactical foul, failed at taking a charge, bad call :), maybe he was stopping a fastbreak...many options, fouls like that happens.

Or it could be a really dumb play. Bench him as a punishment! :D

What he's asking is why it's precisely the same amount of time iinto the posession for every foul.

Oh, then bench him!

On serious note, are you playing Full Court Press? That would explain it a bit.

That is factually correct...6 or 7 seconds.

(((...))) = thought bubble.

It's not precisely the same though. It happens within a range of 7 seconds. If the other team plays a Mike D'Antoni 7 seconds or less offense then nearly every foul will come 7 seconds after a rebound. Couldn't an FCP defense with subpar defenders cause that easily?

Maybe your coach is Greg Popovich and you are playing Suns.

If my coach is Pop than I have nothing to worry about...I think my coach may be the ghost of Cotton Fitzsimmons...
