I don't understand how is the base offfense exactly programmed because in my actual cup game, my players seem to be crazy about 3 points, but none of them are really good at that and the result is 0 for 10.
How can you make them shoot less 3 points, having a morer balanced offense, isn't that what bse offense is about?

10 3pointers in a 48 minutes game is not that much!

thats pretty balanced. if you dont want to shoot as much outside try look inside or low post. if you want your team to take some more time and work the offense for better shots play patient.

Actually those 10 attempts would be quite low for the base offense. I like to play with an inside focus, and my team typically take around 10 3-pt shots in a game, eg. (1163867).

You'll note that in that particular game, my opponent used the base and took 20 3-pt shots.

In this game (561210) I had ONE player(Fred Cromwell) take 17 3s

10 attempts was only in the first quarter. I had 29 on the all game...and I only made 1 out of 29!!

You can in a way ask for more 3-points by playing Princeton. So there must be a combination of tactics that gives the opposite action? Just try out different types of speed and defense - and see.
