If a player has a cap of "Starter", what does that translate to in skill level where they reach the soft cap? Is there a correlation? The guys I'm training are all "Starter" level potential... I was wondering when I should stop training a certain skill because they've reached their "soft cap".

I've looked through the rules, but I didn't see a correlation.

Yes, there really hasn't been any definitive research on this as it's still in its infancy. As a rule, I try not to get guys who are below starter. I'm going to try to track and train two rookies of very similar skills and height and very opposite potentials this year. Perhaps in a season or two I'll have something resembling an answer for you.
