I have a player that has inept rebounding, but consistenly outrebounds most of the other players on my team, even the respectable and strong ones... and after 2 weeks of rebound training, still hasn't increased. is this usual?

got it. thanks! I didn't realize about the spill-over effect.

how does it work - if the rest of the team are great rebounders, my PF gets a rebound boost, or if the rest of my team are great inside defenders, my PF gets a rebound boost. the latter would make sense since the rest help to box-out.

so if I have a PG with inept passing, if the rest of the squad has respectable passing, will my PG gets an assist boost? Or he gets a boost if the rest are great scorers?

This is interesting, and makes for different team growth strategy than what I originally intended.

I have also noticed that the type of shot missed by your opponent influences rebounds as well. If an opposing team plays Run N Gun, my SF is usually my best rebounder, and my weak rebounding guards will pull in a few as well. Far misses seem to generate more rebounds for my outside players. Conversely if the other team is playing LI, my C and PF rack up big #'s. Also if I play 1-3-1, my C is going to do all the work on the boards.
