Hi fellas, noob here. I'm just wondering how important is it to get a better trainer right off the bat? Since I just started my economy is obviously low, is it a smarter move to upgrade my trainer now with a better one that just popped into my "Hire Me" list or should I invest funds into better players?

Thanks for any advice.

It's up to you. If you want to establish a strong training program, spend your money on a decent trainer and trainees. If you want to be competitive right now, spend your money on decent players and skip the trainer.

I have also just started and haven't figured out how the economy work yet.
But I hired a level 6 trainer and level 3 PR and so far I think it was a sensible decision.
I am not thinking of going for better (and more expensive) staff for a while.

Improves the Game Shape of your team as a whole. This will happen on its own if your players all play around 48 minutes per week.
