I am trying for a rotation more like college teams use. One of my draft picks is my 2nd best player at every position on the court what I am trying to figure out is the following questions.

1. If he starts and is my backup SG PG and C does that mean when subbing he will just switch positions and not leave the court?

2. Would he be playing too many minutes backing up 3 spots?

3. How good is the buzzer beater scout helper with position suggestions?

I am asking number 3 because the program is telling me to move my starting C from last year to SG but he is 6'11" and a weak passer.

1. he might play all of those positions, but i doubt it. he'll need to rest eventually. and he won't get very good training time unless you're doing team training, which i wouldn't recommend for an extended period of time.

2. too many minutes is over 90 minutes in a week.

3. buzzerbeater is alright in suggesting positions, but you don't have to follow them. lots of users have players that are suggested small forwards, but play them at point guard. in your case you should know that shooting guards are measured more by jump shot, jump range, driving. passing is important but the other skills are better since a shooting guard will take more shots. if his inside skills are not bad for his age then you can probably train him more at the inside positions.

thanks for the answers well that shoots down the idea of making him a 6th man letting him play all 5 positions. Now I need how to control my PG's shot selection skill wise he should hit open shots but he doesn't.
