I don't think that you can.
BB has just instituted a program that when a team is converted to a bot, their more valuable players are made free agents and put on the transfer list. The old owner Puffs just became a bot last night (wee hours of Sunday morning), and the 3 players were transfer listed then.
But when a team is a bot, a new owner can be assigned - that's you. A new owner gets a new 18 players, a new arena, new economy. etc. Your team also keeps the current season record and schedule of the previous owner. You have played 7 of 22 games in the regular season.
If you'll notice the ID of the 18 new players is from a different sequence from the 3 players on the transfer list. They look to be pretty typical for a new team. Julian looks to be a very nice young trainable player (based on his salary and age, which is all I can see).
Check your economy page, and see if your team is being credited for the bids on the players. It probably shouldn't but it might. I think you can also bid on your own players. Because of this new program, there is really a flood of pretty good players on the transfer list. The very best are probably out of your budget, but because of all the players on the TL at once, there might be some just below that might go for just a few $1000.
BTW, you should schedule a scrimmage for Thursday. There are 3 game dates per week. League games are on Tuesday and Saturday, and there is scrimmage date on Thursday that you can use for training.
