This team (176592) with a human manager is not in a cup (national tournament).

Another bug - he promote by bot cleanup and allegedly didn't receive the bonus money.

Don't take it personal but you are not a legit source. I would rather wait for someone who has better percentages in being right.

Many bots play in the cup by the way. From lower level than this team. I doubt last season standings influenced that much that 4th division bot team would be preferred and ton newly 3rd division human team. However bug may be cuased by something like this.

He most certainly is a legit source.

Don't post taglines whining about "personal attacks by GMs" and then post crap like this.

Whining is a really polite term. I'm trying to help to solve a problem. I know position in cup is not granted but it rarely happens someone didn't play it. It is obviously a bug. Thank you for focusing on other things than the nitty gritty of the thread.

(and yes, it is a kind of public secret that some people claims about mechanics of thsi game are not that trustworthy. Kozlodoev felt offended even if I expanded his advices on help forum in yes-and-soemtimes-even-that-style, when i simply can't be more polite. We should leave it here and rather focus on the problem.).

As has been pointed out without comment, not all human teams necessarily make the cup. Let's try to figure out why this human team didn't.

The team finished 7th in a IV league. The user's country has a 1024-team draw.

Once the teams in I-III are added, there are 1024 - 16 - 64 - 256 = 688 spots left. There are 64 IV leagues, so that means 10 or 11 teams make it per IV. It's reasonable to assume that means all 5th place teams, and a selection of 6th place teams.

Therefore, we can reasonably infer that this team, who finished in 7th place in a IV, was correctly excluded from the Cup based on last season's finish.

If you want to suggest that behaviour change, I'd try the Suggestions forum.

I know the rules, you simply don't understand what I would or wouldn't love. But you think you do and that's the only problem.

I was aware of this I simply couldn't believe that would be the case. Yes maybe it is more suited suggestions board then but even if it is not technically a bug it is bug-like feature. The country currently has 341 active teams and there are 1024 spots in cup. There were only two filled fourth division last season (and one team in iv.3). Not only that but since new teams are assigned to two lowest levels and whole division is filled and then new teams are assigned to the next one, it is ridiculous, because suc ha system forces active teams from cup. In addition, meanwhile first fourth divisions were filled, teams in third divisions became bots resulting in team joining later were assigned to higher divisions - simply if the team would join few weeks later he would be in the cup. Combination of all those things is really wrong.

I'm in a hurry, anyone feel free to create a thread about it on suggestion board, I don't know when I could find a time to do so.
