Hello,

I´m a portuguese BB fan and I don´t undertand the meaning of the expression "driving lay-up". Could anyone explain me it? Thanks in advance.

A running lay-up.

So you'd run towards the basket then jump. Then with 1 hand shoot the ball while in the air.

The "drive" part might indicate that you are running towards a defender.

Driving generally means pushing into the lane under opposition.
