How much value does a pr manager really give a team? I have a lvl 4 pr manager and he takes up 18k a week in salary. I'm just wondering is it really worth it to have him around. He has no specialty. How much of a difference does that make in your fan survey, and in effect your attendance?

I think this is the most unknown thing in the BB universe: the effect and the economical value of the diffrent levels of PR guys.

I can tell you that it makes a difference in your weekly merchandise sales - I used to have a level six and my weekly sales were around 18.5k and now I have a level 4 and I lost about 2k per week in sales.

One thing i've been wondering about that... the loss in merchandise. Is that right now at least in my fan survey i havent yet played on tv or my rival. So my Survey isnt the best, and because of that my merchandise sales are down with the same pr guy ive always had. Just an interesting thought. I've heard both sides of that discussion though. I'll be playing tv game and rival game next week so maybe i'll get back to you if it goes up.

Just for the record, I have level 2 guy. My weekly merchandise profit -- 18.5k.
Thank you. Good night.

yes, it is in the rules.
the question was: is it worth it.
for fanshop income it is calculateable, and for that alone it's not worth it.
your level 2 will cost you much more then 2k LESS then the level 6.
But there are a lot of 'hidden' factors as well that are influenced by the PR guy.
* how much you can ask for tickets
*
maybe
the raise of season ticket holders ???
* how many spectators you have for a game
*...
there is little info available on the effect of the PR on those things, so it is very hard to calculate. especially since many of those things have other, mostly bigger factors besides the PR guy.
Since the PR guy only 'helps' out on certain things, and there are so many other factors influencing them, I think this question posed in the initial post will be one that will stay in BB for a very very long time, if not forever.
