I know as of last season, DMI was fairly useless in determining a player's skills. BUT ...it looks to me (assuming only) like DMI has switched over to being useful. Before it seemed like DMI gave a number for potential, where it looks like it now is accurate portrayal of current attributes.

If i am way off base...tell me.

Example. I have a guy on my team who had a DMI last year of 63000 ..19 years old. It kept dropping and dropping. All the way down to 16000 for the start of this season (i know game shape...plays a role at reset..but it was dropping during season).

Now he is going back up with attribute training. Now back to 24000.

Explain.....

Skills play a role in DMI, but not really enough to have a point other than that since it rose, it meant he did receive training.

I don't know of any high-level managers that give DMI a first thought, never mind a second, and I'd advise you to not even worry about it.

Ok cool thanks.

Maybe another useless stat can be added. Here are some ideas:

SUPER DUNKING
(levels range from Mugsy Bogues to Michael Jordan)

CROSSOVER DRIBBLE
(levels range from George Muresan to Tim Hardaway)

BEHIND THE BACK PASSING
(level range from Mark Eaton to Pistol Pete)

Why have it?
