What all goes into game ratings? You can have a guy score 40 and get a game rating of 5.0. In high leagues, you see a guy go 10pts 8 rebounds and get 13.0.

Does it have to do with leagues? I know I found something that says it doesn't have anything to do with player ability, but I am doubting that.

Does it have to do with what his opponent is doing? (scoring, rebounding, etc)

Even then ...the ratings are off.

If i took a 20-10 game from a D5 dude...he gets 6.5 rating. 20-10 game in D2 ..and that dude probably has a 12 rating +

Please explain.

Yes I honestly was going to ask the same question. My rival in Div 5 last season ought a 1 mill plus player who regularly got ratings of 9.0+. When we played against each other (I might also add that his team was already good before the addition of the guy), my center dominated his. Rebounds and Offensive rebounds wise. My team whooped their asses and then my center had a rating of 8.0 while his had 11.0. It was kinda ridiculous. I would be very grateful if yall can explain as I want to buy a player right now who averages 10.0+ ratings whose stats are just like my other starting guard. Would he perform better or what??

Yeah..there a many ways to look at this ...so hopefully we will hear from some GM's so we don't have to ask a thousand different ways.

Aren't player game ratings cut some from the same cloth as DMI?

Keep in mind a 20-10 in Div 5 is not the same as a 20-10 in Div 2 do to the talent differences.

Ok. So...not challenging anything, but just want to know....

If i have a guy with high defensive attributes and super low offensive....he is prone to better ratings than a guy with the opposite?

That's how I view them.
