I don't really understand the match ratings...
How can my inside scoring be pitiful (high) but my inside defense be awful (low)
Pitiful is 2 and Awful is 3 but it is still higher.

High and low refer to subcatagories within the ratings. So Pitiful (High) is one stage below Awful (low) and one stage above Pitiful (Medium)

I think i read that the effect of enthusiasm is shown in the ratings but not the effect of TIE and CT. Is this correct?

I went back in the forums and found this thread
(66029.3)
.According to the two posts there the team ratings can be affected by:
1) Whether you are home or away (PR Manager Specialties Can Also Have an Affect on your performance home and away)
2) Your Enthusiasm, the higher it is the better you will perform.
We know both of these variables factor into your teams final score so it would make sense that they would factor into the team ratings. How much they are weighed in we don't know, and how much importance these ratings have is also unknown. Different managers will argue their very important some will say that they are useless.

Thanks to both of you!
Another question. Are the ratings affected by how many minutes the players play?
My best rebounder (who started) got injured after 10 minutes on the floor, still i got quite good ratings in rebounding. This made me belive the ratings might be calculated from my starting lineup. Is this rubbish?

Players who play less minutes tend to have a higher rating, and although I don't officially know why I have a hunch it's stamina-related.

Do you know if the specialty of a PR manager impacts the ratings? Or would we only see this in the "pts per 100"?

I figure the PR specialty would impact both the team ratings and the points per 100, even maybe the player ratings as the specialties would increase how you play on the road (Nat Appeal) or at Home (Crowd Involvement). While they may not be directly built into the formula I think they would have a impact through that increase in performance.
Anyone know in more detail?
