i mean, if good handling or passing (driving?) is the most important thing to avoid a lot of turnovers or less shot oportunities so less quality shots..what is the pace when using 1-3-1? if i play patient or low post(decreased pace) would my team have more TO if my opponetn plays higher pace or it just about handling,P (D)?thanks

The rules contain no information regarding pace of 1-3-1. I've always assumed it was normal, but when I read it just now, it looks like the pace was just left off. However, you lose so much in terms of Inside Defense and Rebounding that I wouldn't recommend this defense unless your opponent makes a very large amount of outside shots, and can't compete with your team inside.

I think it's just about handling and passing, but I can't say for certain. The pace of your offenseive and defenseive tactics seem to have much more to do with the stamina of your players, and how rapidly their skills deteriorate due to stamina loss (which, in turn, could cause turnovers).
