training a 7 footer jump shot

How quickly will a 7 foot player develop his jump shot? I know height has to do with how quickly other skills develop but i can't recall ever hearing whether or not it affected how quickly jump shot develops.

I don't believe that height affects jumpshot training.

Yes it does, and training a 7 footer in jump shot will take significantly longer than a smaller guy. How much I can't say, tho.

As far as I know, height only effects handling and rebound training.

i am not sure about Jumpshot, afaik they said they make it unimportant or less important in a news, before some seasons.

Handling trains pretty similiar then driving, so i don't suppose a big effect as i trained a 200cm PG i have huge problems with OD, the other skills gone pretty normal.

It affects basically every skill. From personal experience, even between a 6 footer and a 6'3 there are differences, as the taller guy is a tad behind the smaller right now, even if they basically started from the same point.
