i have pooled the suggestions from the german suggestion thread (verbesserungsvorschläge), which have vbeen accepted by the germans. please debate them here:


1.: more tactical options:
offense:
- go to guy X
defense:
- box and one (zone defense with one player playing man-to-man against a chosen player of the opponents team)

2.: AllStarGame MVP & finals MVP-award, would make the game more real

3.: get the ability to review the edited draftlist after the draft, so you easily understand what the given information on the draftlist means

4.: look for deadline on transferlist

5.: match viewer: smth like "nothing but net" and "close to an airball" in addition to shot missed and score

6.: show AllStarGame in teamschedule from the beginning of the season

7.: show injuries and starting five in game boxscore

8.: a page for teamstats (leading team in points scored, asissts, rebounds and so on)

9.: make it possible to remove players from the bids overview (tools)

10.: Xsearch for leagues on the search pageX done


if you want me to explain a suggestion more exactly, just ask it ;)

All very, very good suggestions.

The only one I disagree with is Isolation as a tactic. Isolation is more of a play rather than a tactic. (Unless you're Isiah Thomas of coarse!) It would be like having pick and roll as a tactic.

Other suggestions as a tactics could be -

Seven seconds or less. (which could be an even faster PTB)
Triangle offense.

thanks a lot for judging our suggestions.
let´s use an other word instead of isolation. it was a little bit misunderstandable. i´d rather call it go to guy X. this is a real tactic (have a look at the cleveland cavaliers and lebron james or the miami head and dwyane wade or the orlando magic and dwight howard and so on;)).

so lets go on with your suggestions: i think 7 seconds or less (like phoenix suns did with shawn marion in their roster?) might be good. but what would be the advantage? your players shoot as quick as they can and don´t wait until they have open looks. it your offense doesn´t have any focus, which would imho be an advantage. so do you think this could really be effective?
triangle offense: works pretty nice in Los Angeles. but maybe its a bit too difficult to use it in the game engine. and also it is difficult to understand, which makes it useless for a majority of the managers. what do you think?

Add the cumulative opponent stats on the Team Stats Page.

P.e.: I´m scoring 95.1 Pts per game, now that´s a meaningless number unless you have the Points Against there to compare. On NBA.com Teampages not only the "scored" but "against" stats are listed in the summary, would help alot to analyze your strength and weaknessess.

yes, this one is good. it would actually make this game more real.

i would like to see the teams stats page that would be great also team ratings for supporter, its time consuming to check each player individual ratings.

and more tactics omg we need the triangle offense as a lakers fan myself the first thing i wanted to do when joined this awesum game was choosing the triangle O, yeah i know its somewhat difficult to implement but still ^_^ also double team is great but i think this should be a tactical decision made by a coach in-game when an opposite player is really making damage.

speaking of in-game whats the deal with crazy substitutions in each time out or FT in the 4th quarter?? everytime that happens i just pray to the game engine that my starters end up in the floor in the last 2-3 mins of a close game.

i also like the awards idea very much =D

2- would be nice, but way low on priority
3- YES. I have tried to make sense of info given versus final players abilities....but have failed....now I no longer try
4- would be nice, but way low on priority
5- more worried about stating number of fouls a player has committed, or stating who has blocked a shot.
6- ok, and would be so easy to do.
7- YES- this is so needed, especially those of us who go back and scout other teams starters. :)
8- team stats (I assume for Supporters?) not just game stats, but league, season and historical player stats, again, a Supporter feater
9-not a problem for me, but not against it
10- not a problem, but not against
