For the last 2 weeks, botification has been taking place every time after a financial update. The players who has a salary more than 4k will be released to the Transfer List. Doing so the good players will stay in the game and the utterly useless ones will get replaced by new ones whenever that bot is taken over.

This however will have an impact on the community AND the economy on the long run. The economy part i could care less, but i'll explain it anyways. Millions of dollars are spend on these players. That money will never be seen again. I'm not an economic expert but that should have some impact on the Transfer market.
The most important effect of the players being throw in the TL is that rich teams will by most of those players. Let's say 60% of the players will be sold to divsion 2 and 1 teams. How will a new team Ever earn his way to the top while div1 and 2 has accumulated tons of money and bought all their good players off of botified teams.
It's not really motivating to be new and get your ass handed over to teams that has been longer than you are. How would you feel if you're just beginning to understand the game and you'd have a losing streak of 6+. Most people would just drop the game and move on. There aren't many people who would sit back and wait several months before they can remotely compete with the teams that have been there longer. And that is something that will kill the community. It would be better off without this feature.

Now, debate...

One thing to consider:

Even the very best players in the game suck for the most part, as the training hasn't developed enough to produce really good players.

Once this 1st wave of botification occurs over the next several weeks, you'll find that the players released will eventually be at a level where top teams wont really need them.

Just my 2 cents.

Some would still buy them to sell for a profit.. which will result in bigger arena's ...more income.. more money.. and the cycle continues.

But teams will do this whether the player comes from a bot team or not. Older teams will be more financially secure that is just the nature of the game.

I know top teams will be more financially secure, but that's not the point. The point is that now the top teams will get an extra boost at this very moment. Which will result in a HUGE gap between the smaller teams and the big teams in the long run. The players from the bot teams are 4k salary or higher. It's save to say that bot team players are better than the human players out on the TL. This feature is just a catalyst, in a bad way. Bigger gaps in power in a small amount of time... which will hurt the community... a community who desperately need more players... and that's the point we're the discussing.

I have to agree with riceball, there will be a bigger gap between bigger and smaller teams. I believe that new teams who are set in lower leagues, will never stand against top divisions......

I also do not understand the rationale of selling players off of bot teams. Why not let them die? If they are NT players, then TL them. Otherwise, they should go.

I have yet to see the developments of the game due to the recent event of changes. I am curious how this will work out; since I also have seen similar problems occuring at HT. From a isolated simulation point of view and a scientific point of view I cannot wait how BB will turn out after two seasons.. Will BB be right or ....

there's a simple solution for this problem, a limited number of players in a single roster.

I will explain for him... Let's say, we have a limit of 20 players on a roster... Then the rich clubs couldn't buy all those great players and problem is fixed... But I would limit a roster to 18 players... You can rotate 12 players per week if you want them to be in a good shape, and 6 more are enough for injury coverage...
