hi guys, I would just like to ask if it is worth it to spend $40k for scouting.. i belong in the lowest division (5).. will I get good draft results? or should I just save the $40k for future use?

Thanks!

The quality of your draft pool is independent of your divsion.

I see you are ranked first in your conference, and 3rd in your division. This means that there will be 13 teams who pick a player out of the draft pool before it's your turn, so the change that you pick a huge talent is kinda small.

Personally I only invest in scouting if I think I will finish in one of the last positions in the league, but if I'm a contester for promotion, then I will shut down my scouting investments to 0,0.

Btw, this is the case if you have active managers in the league. I didn't look at your series, but if you happen to have a lot of bots in your league, you will have a better chance even at current position. Bot teams draft randomly.

Check out the team's page. If it says the team is managed by a bot, then it's managed by a bot. Also look at a team's recent games to see if scrimmages have been booked, tactics changed, etc.

another possibility is to look on the conference information in your standing page, then you see 50% of your league team with just one click ;)

exactly everyone wth a close login could change his draft order, but the chanche is high that people who don't login for the last few weeks, won't login again to make the draft.
