does any one have some sense whether our game coaches recognize a player who is "on fire"? I sure have no skills at programming, but I wonder if the coach is programmed "if x hits 3 in a row, feed him the ball and keep him in the game" or does fatigue or stamina trump mighty point production?

I wonder because I think I have a streaky SG who is capable of missing 8 shots in a row and then balance that by hitting his next 5. It is my impression the coach does not think the way I do and has been known to remove Mr. Streak just as he begins to heat up -- much to my chagrin. I know enough about statistics to know that the previous shot is not connected to the next shot, so what I am asking about is but a human illusion, but can (has?) our supremely rational coach be programmed to not be so rational and play the hot hand (or some other hunch)?

I don't think thats it. Maybe your guard heats up when he is guarded by a more tired or worse subsitute?

first of all i like to say, that it give streaky player and this is recognized in the system. So if your SG hits 5 in a row, the chanche to hit the 6 one is higher like the similiar shot with 5 consequtive misses before.

If the coach take care of it no idea.
