Hey guys

Next Saturday I have to play against a "inside" team, means nice ID and IS but bad OS and OD. I got so good 3 Pointers in my team and i was wondering with which tatics it would be possible to get the most out of the game (means the biggest point difference). I sould beat him easely. Now my question is: with which tatics do I get my guards to attempt the most 3 Pointers?

princetown, but have bad results, because usually who use that tactic, needs 3 point shooters, and ussualy they hadn't.

But more 3 pointers is princeton

You will want to use Motion or Run and Gun, those are the outside-oriented offenses.

NO ONE at this table ordered a rum & Coke
Charles: Penn has some good people
A CT? Really?
Any two will do
Any three for me
Any four will score
Any five are live

the one who fits best to your good handling and passing players, you will hit with every tactics a lot of shots but it is improtant to keep your ball in your team.

Maybe inside tactics are a but stronger, because you will throw more inside shots, then normal when playing against fcp.

This is not meant as an attack or something, but didnt you just contradict yourself? Because normally C and PF (inside tactics) have less handling than SF, SG and PG (outside tactics)...

Do you (or anybody) know if theres like a percentage of 3P attempts for those tactics. I mean like if you play R&G about 15-20% are 3P attempts?

Subjective based on your player outside offensive skills and opponent's outside defense and matchups.

i know what you are mean but the C or PF plays anyway in my straty, i don't think it makes sense to play a guard on PF becuase he will lose the ball less often. But maybe if you have offnsiv limited 2cd PF/C who could handle the ball better then your first row, i would let then start when they are a bit weaker then your stronger player in their main skills this was my point i try to reach with that argument.

If you play with an PF or SG on SF depending on your strategy, then it often makes sense to attack outside because the SG is normally stronger in keeping the ball against a press. But if you play with a versatile SF, and don't have a specific strength in attack i would prefer the inside attack instead of the outside one.

So main propose against an FCP
-> lineup your best handlers/passers
-> attack with your strength

If your outside shooting is equal to your inside attack attack i would prefer the inside attack.

Now I see what you mean and I totally agree with you. I just played against a team which used FCP as Dfense and my starting C who has handling atrocious had 9 TO... the other teammates who had handling between 7 and 10 had just few TO, but it was a very weak opponent...
What im wondering right now is if C need to have OD or ID to make steal in FCP... (Guards need OD, Im quite sure about that)

For turnovers its HD and for steals its OD,Its the same for everyone thats why Centers arent usually the guys who steal the ball , If I was you Id work on my big mens handling once or twice a Season so you have less turnovers. So just to get to the point Its the same for everyone , you want steals your big guys need OD, you dont want turnovers you need HD. And ID probably might help if they come inside for a layup but besides that your not getting any steals with ID.
