Does decreased perimeter D lead to more fouls? My young PG has Respectable outside D and in the last few games has collected 4 and 5 fouls, respectively. This has led to increased time for my older PG who, in the run n' gun offense i play, jacks up too many shots while not making enough (6-23 last game). Also, the older PG has average d and has collected around 3-4 fouls/game the last 6 games. Can anyone explain to me why my younger PG has started to pick up these fouls recently? thanks for the help.

If I had to guess I would say your young PG doesn't have very good stamina, which can lead to players comitting more fouls as they get tired.

This combined, with your run n' gun offense (which is very fast paced) could be a very bad combination, and probably the reason for your foul trouble.

maybe he is getting more defending to do when you play 2-3....then his stamina and handling is getting more wonderable....lack of handling, stamina i think i makes you do fouls

Why would lack of handling make you commit fouls, unless they are offensive ones, which are quite rare.
