It's been a rough couple of weeks for the team. A manager who was training 2-3 U21 NT players went bot and their GS went with them. Couple that with 3 other key playing too many minutes to support their home team and we are kinda screwed. Today we went with the high GS squad and I was tempted to only dress 8, but the U21 experience should have all the players available for the match - hence the Home Team coaches get the chance to watch their players.
This first round has been full of experiences. I made two tactical errors and it likely cost us a chance to move forward.
Looking forward to the next round, we will be looking through the younger kids in the hopes we get a core together to carry us forward. Please review the changes to the game that are expected to impact the team near team. Passing, Shot blocking, and zone play are going to play larger parts so mono-skilled players are going to take more shots on the chin preventing them from being effective.
