Hello all,
Scrimmage today as we fell short in qualifying. There was a 3 way tie for first at 6-1 which tells you how tough our group was. As we plan for the second season, we will be looking into the next crop of players in hopes of improving our position and prevent us from being in the pools of death.
That said, I failed you. There are no excuses to be offered here and I hope the experience is one we all grow from.
Today, we are going to get the guys who haven't gotten a chance to play much play. These 21 year olds will be closing out their U21 experience and their managers should get every opportunity to see their players play as well. It's been an awesome opportunity to coach all of these guys even the ones whose manager left the game.
What I am really excited about are the managers who took time out to raz me. Positive or negative, you are showing you care about your team and you really should. Now it's time to back up those words and train your players to play on the team.
